Foreigners who have purchased immovables worth at least 400 thousand USD and put an annotation that they will not be sold for three years in the land registry and have been determined by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization,
Foreigners who create employment for at least 50 people and whose situation is determined by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security,
Foreigners, who have deposited at least 500 thousand USD in one of the banks operating in Turkey and stipulated to keep it for 3 years, determined by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency,
Foreigners identified by the Undersecretariat of Treasury, who purchase at least USD 500 thousand in government debt instruments and stipulate that they hold for three years.


Obtaining a Residence Permit by Buying Real Estate

An individual who is not a Turkish citizen can apply for a residence permit by acquiring property in Turkey. However, each residence permit application is examined in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and procedures, and certain conditions must be met in order to be approved.

In order to obtain a residence permit by purchasing real estate in Turkey, usually the property owner must apply to a Land Registry Office in Turkey and follow a specific application process. Residence permit applications are evaluated and decided by the General Directorate of Migration Management.
